Math:  Day 2

1. Count the windows in your house. Have an adult record the number of each. 

2. Roll your playdough into little snakes and make your numbers 1 – 10.

Reading:  Day 2

Read the enclosed book:  Getting Dressed by Felicia Brown

Draw a picture of you dressed to go outside in the snow.

         

Language Arts:  Day 2

Think of the word snow.  Find items in your house that start with the letters in the word S-N-O-W.

Science: Day 2

Step 1. Go outside and play for 15 minutes. While outside half fill a cup with snow. Draw a picture of the cup filled with snow.  

Step 2. Bring the cup indoors and put it in a warm place for 2 hours, now draw a picture of what it looks like. 

Step 3. Now put the cup in the freezer for 2 hours.  Draw a picture of what it looks like.  

Step 4. Have an adult record your thoughts on what you noticed happened to the snow.
